Registering as a Coach/Manager
1. If you have already registered your USTA # as a coach/captain, simply give your USTA # to your Coordinator and skip steps 2-7
2. Go to: http://tennislink.usta.com/TEAMTENNIS/Main/Home.aspx
3. Click on “Become a Coach/Manager” located on the bottom right side of your computer screen under “Options”
4. Fill in the necessary information and select a password
5. Click “SUBMIT” (NOTE: Write down your number and password, you will need this every time you use TennisLink)
6. Let your Coordinator know your registered number (they will need to add you to your team(s) in TennisLink)
7. Submit a background check (mandatory): http://www.midatlantic.usta.com/USTA-Jr-Team-Tennis/Background-Checks/Home/
Registering a Player or Team
1. If your child(ren) need to purchase a USTA membership (or renew an existing one), use the promo code FYF13CNS for 10U
2. You will need to know your Team Number and the players USTA membership numbers
3. Go to: http://tennislink.usta.com/TEAMTENNIS/Main/Home.aspx
4. Click “Register to Play”
5. Enter your Team Number, click “ENTER”
6. Enter your players’ USTA membership numbers
7. If you are registering more than one player, continue with step 4 for every player
8. Click “Proceed to Checkout”
9. This will bring you to the payment page (you will have to use a credit card to pay for the registration fee(s))
10. Click “SUBMIT”, if you need a receipt, print out the next page that comes up
Entering Scores After a Match
1. Go to: http://tennislink.usta.com/TEAMTENNIS/Main/Home.aspx
2. Click “Login” above the USTA Jr. Team Tennis logo
3. Enter your USTA # or your Captain ID
4. Enter your Password and click “Login”
5. Under “My Options” (right side, in red), click “Score Entry”
6. Enter the Match ID and click “Next”
7. Enter the date the match was played
8. Enter match results
Choose the players for each match from the drop down boxes
IMPORTANT: List the winning score first (i.e. 4-1, 2-4, 1-0 … NOT 1-4, 4-2, 0-1)
Choose the winner of each match from the drop down box under “Winner:”
9. Click “Next”
10. Review the information and if it is correct, click “Finish”
Searching for a Player’s MAS Ranking Points
1. Go to: http://tennislink.usta.com/TOURNAMENTS/Common/Default.aspx
2. Enter player’s USTA # under “Find a Ranking”, click “SEARCH”
3. If nothing comes up, then that player has no tournament points
4. If a list of rankings comes up, find the “Calculation Date” for 8/31/13
5. Click on the “List Name” and find how many “Points” that player has as of that date
6. If the player has 350 or more MAS points as of 8/31/13, then he or she will need to play Advanced
